LTM- Lift Turn Move Ltd, established in September 2004, is based in Birkenhead, Wirral and is an independent company, wholly owned and operated by the people who run the business day by day, this ensures decisions and actions can be made swiftly and customer service is top priority.

John Jones, David King and Dave Ward manage the business and are joined by Jenny Hobday, Dan Holme, Alison Jones, James Porter, Dawn Gerrard and Carl Hamlet in sales and office roles.

Dave Ward is joined in the engineering workshop by Geoff Cromwell, Lee Culff, Wade Taylor, Mike Cromwell and Jim Marshall - all Engineers. Our combined Lifting and Handling Equipment experience is in excess of 230 years.

Product Range

An extensive range of equipment is available from LTM including the LoadGuard™ electric chain hoists. LTM staff have been heavily involved in supplying electric chain hoists (motors) into to the UK, European and Middle East professional entertainment and touring industries for many years, so we have we believe more experience than anyone else in supplying and supporting this range of equipment. As well as stocking hoists for immediate despatch, we hold extensive spares allowing you to get hoists back on the road again within the shortest possible timeframe. Access to the knowledge of our engineers is all part of the package we offer.

Guardian Motor Controllers are built at LTM to standard off the shelf specifications and also bespoke requirements. Higher integrity control systems from many of the world's leading Controller manufacturers are also available from LTM.

In addition to standard rigging hoists, we also supply higher integrity hoisting systems including equipment to the British Entertainment Hoisting Standard BS7906: Part 1, Category A, and the German standards BGV D8 Plus and BGV C1 (VPLT SR 2.0). Special features can include double brakes, encoders (both incremental and absolute types), load sensing and multiple limit switches. Services

In addition to supplying a wide range of new Mechanical and Electrical Lifting and Materials Handling Products, LTM offers repairs and routine servicing on all makes of electric chain hoist.

This can either be done at our extensively stocked workshop or alternatively we can offer this service at your premises.

We can also undertake site installation, testing and commissioning work on all of the products we offer for sale. We can also install equipment from other manufacturers.

Our engineering staff, as well as being time served engineers hold many LEEA (Lifting Equipment Engineers Association) qualifications.

Our processes are audited and checked by LEEA to ensure we undertake our operations to meet the latest regulations and standards.

Training

LTM continues the work we started in the provision of CM Lodestar Motor Schools for owners and users of CM Chain Hoists. Training courses take place on a regular basis both in house and on your premises.
