LTM- Lift Turn Move Ltd, established in 2004, is based in Birkenhead, Wirral and is wholly owned and operated by a nucleus of staff who were responsible for introducing the Columbus McKinnon Lodestar® electric chain hoist to the UK and European professional entertainment and touring industries since 1992.

John Jones, David King and Dave Ward own the business with Jenny Hobday, Dan Holme, Alison Jones,James Porter and Dean Ward in sales and office roles. Dave Ward is joined in the workshop by Geoff Cromwell, Phil Jones, Lee Culff, Don Paul and Wade Taylor - all Engineers. Together we boast over 197years of lifting experience.

An extensive range of equipment is available from LTM including- Lodestar and Prostar electric chain hoists, hand and electrically operated hoists, trolleys and winches. Motor Controllers are built at LTM to your requirements. A full range of rigging accessories is also available. If you have unusual requirements we will be pleased to source equipment for you.

The Lodestar Is the Standard Hoist for the entertainment industry. CM Lodestars are found on virtually every tour, event and festival on the World circuit. They are increasingly used in theatres and multi purpose venues.

High integrity hoisting systems are available including equipment to BGV C1 German safety standard. Special features include double brakes, load sensing and multiple limit switches. Variable speed units and manual or computerised controllers are available to monitor safety features and drive the equipment.

LTM offers spares, repairs and routine servicing.

We pride ourselves on fast response and delivery, we hold an extensive range of new equipment and spare parts at our larger premises, orders and repairs can be turned round at speed. LTM understand the needs of a demanding, rapidly moving industry where service is critical.

LTM continues the work we started in the provision of CM Lodestar Motor Schools for owners and users of CM Chain Hoists. Training courses take place on a regular basis both in house and on your premises - 6 have been held since the start of 2007.
