Walkways & Ladders

Checkmate Safety utilise a wealth of experience in the design, fabrication and installation of purpose made walkways and ladders.

Where possible we utalise standard designs and adapt to suit your particular application.

Often roof structures or buildings require a more tailored approach and our team offers site measuring, design advice, CAD Design and structural analysis to deliver the complete solution.

Walkways can be designed and fitted to all manner of structures allowing safe access whilst protecting the structure itself.

Safe access is normally provided to the roof via internal or external ladders. Checkmate do not promote the use of safety hoops as they offer the user very little protection in the event of a fall. Instead we recommend that a vertical fall protection system is mounted on the ladder for total user security. Consult Checkmate for technical advice to ensure ompatibility with structure and system prior to any installation.
