COMPACT Ladders

Compact Ladder Dimensions

General purpose ladders, for applications such as manhole entry, caving and access to lighting trusses. Key features:

  • 5 or 10 metres as standard. Special order lengths up to 20 metres.
  • Join together for longer lengths
  • Compact design allows easy storage and transport
  • Two rung spacing options:
    • 25 cm for easier climbing
    • 30 cm for lower weight and cost

Types of COMPACT ladders

  • REGULAR - the most popular style - durable and versatile. Recommended for frequent use.
  • LIGHTWEIGHT - for situations where weight and cost are more important than durability. Only recommended for infrequent use.
  • BLACK RUNG - with stainless steel wire rope sides - for where corrosion is a risk, e.g. marine environments. Also useful in theatres or where black is required.

Compact Ladder Spreaders

Spreaders (available in galvanised or stainless steel)

  • Y' shaped extension for connecting a COMPACT ladder to a single anchor point.
  • Gives correct angle between ends of wire rope sides and top rung - too acute an angle causes wear on the wire rope and excessive loading.
  • Available with three different terminations, to match ladder terminations.
  • Supplied with swaged eye ends - connect to ladder with removable screw-link connectors or karabiners

Compact Ladder wire belay

Spreaders (available in galvanised or stainless steel)

  • Used for suspending the ladder from large objects, such as beams or natural rock features
  • Available with swaged eyes for use with Maillon Rapides or karabiners (max 12 mm bar diameter)

4mm Version

  • Available with C-links (to attach to ladders already fitted with C-links) or swaged eye ends
  • - 1 m, 1.5 m, 2 m and 3 m lengths

7mm Version

  • With protective plastic sleeve - more hard wearing for industrial use
  • Plastic sleeve helps to protect the anchor point from damage and helps to protect the wire rope from acute bending
  • - 0.5 m, 0.75 m, 1 m, 1.5 m, 2 m and 3 m lengths. Other lengths made to order.

Compact Ladder rapid deployment pouch

Storage and rapid deployment pouch
