CM Hurricane Hand Chain Block
- The CM Hurricane is the first hand chain hoist to allow operation of the hand chain from any direction. It is an economical unit designed for medium duty applications. More flexibility means greater safety operators no longer have to work directly under the load. Designed for upright use only.

- Unique brake design- single pawl disc brake does not use ratchet pawls or pawl springs, as other hand chain hoists
- Unique hand wheel cover Hand wheel cover rotates 360Á for hoist operation in any direction; ideal for special rigging applications
- Pressed steel frame and housing manufactured for long life. Powder coated finish. Internal gears and pinions are heat-treated steel for long life. High quality bushings and sealed ball bearings are used throughout
- Chain Guide and stripper- assures load chain alignment
- High strength hooks and catches
- Hardened steel chain- assures high strength and long wear life with precision load chain wheel- fully machined for better chain fit and reduced wear, holds chain in position even when stored in a flight case
- Minimal maintenance fewer parts used in the assembly that other hoists, easily disassembled, requires no special tools
