Load and lift heavy items to the ceiling (up to 12 ft / 3.7 m high) without using a ladder. (250lb / 113kg capacity).

Easy storage for file boxes, outdoor furniture, lawn mowers, big tools, snow throwers, large toys, canoes, kayaks, holiday ornaments, tires, ladders lumber, third row car seats and just about anything else you can imagine.

Layout Lift FAQ's

Q1. What is the minimum height possible between the ceiling and the layout baseboard (with and without scenery) ?

A1. I have measured the layout with the scenery (this is layout is the same as in the pictures in BRM) this measures = 220mm to the bottom side of the layout.
If there were no scenery i.e. any trees I would imagine this measurement would be 140mm.

Q2. Clearly the baseboard must be light and rigid: for a 6ft X 4ft layout, do you recommend the use of particular materials and maximum sizes?

A2. We have used 20mm ply for the 6ft x 4ft layout, this is rigid but it could do with being battened as this is only a demonstration model.

Q3. As standard the Layout Lift has cable centres of 1220mm x 1180mm / 4� x 3�.10� but you can make this longer?

A3. You would do this by extending the main shaft (the bar connected between the two sides of the winch drums) this will then extend the Layout Lifter to your desired length.
Just make sure that your layout does not exceed 113Kg/250lb, and the weight is evenly distributed.
We could do this for you the cable drops would be 12 foot x 4 foot if you require this - the additional cost for this would be approximately £80 plus vat.
