Lift Turn Move at PALME 2005
2005-04-18
LTM - Lift Turn Move Ltd was launched in September 2004.
The new company is based in The Wirral, Merseyside, UK. Its wholly owned and operated by a nucleus of staff
including John Jones and Dave King, who introduced the Columbus McKinnon Lodestar motor to the professional
entertainment and touring industries in the UK and Europe.
LTM attends its second PALME show, and will be highlighting examples from its comprehensive range of CM Lodestar motors.
Lodestars from LTM
An extensive range of lifting and rigging equipment is available for sale from LTM including Lodestar and Prostar
electric chain hoists. Lodestar is now the entertainment industry standard hoist and can be found on most tours,
events and festivals and in many venues around the world.
High integrity hoisting systems are also available including equipment to BGV C1 German safety standard.
Special features include double brakes, load sensing and multiple limit switches. Variable speed units and
manual or computerised controllers are available to monitor safety features and drive the equipment.
LTM has more experience of BGV C1 than anyone else in the UK.
LTM offers a comprehensive range of spare parts plus repairs and routine servicing, with staff fully
trained in standard equipment and BGV C1.
The new compact CM Prostar hoist features increased capacities and speeds. This higher speed version
will climb at 6 or 10m/min (increased from the industry standard 4 metres a minute). A new 250 Kg SWL @ 4m/minute
version is also available from LTM.
The Ibex Computerised Control System for Lodestar and other hoists is also being shown.
Middle Eastern Promise
Lift-Turn Move comes to PALME 05 as an integral part of its first full industry exhibition season.
It follows hot on the heels of the companys first Pro Light & Sound Frankfurt show, where they took
several orders from the Middle Eastern territories. PALME is ideal for LTM to explore the regions rapidly
expanding commercial opportunities.
