LTM (Lift Turn Move Ltd) acquires COW Lifting Technology, based near Munich in Germany

Lift Turn Move Ltd, the UK based supplier of professional chain hoist and control systems has announced that they have purchased COW Lifting Technology GmbH, the Aichach (near Munich) based manufacturers of BGV C1 and SIL 3 chain hoists, winch and control systems.
"This was a natural partnership. Both organisations are committed to supplying word class equipment in the field of chain hoists and control systems within the professional entertainment industries" says LTM Operations Director David King.
When we started LTM, we always wanted to expand our product and service offering, outside the UK to match the needs of our clients, many of whom work across national borders already.
LTM has sold equipment worldwide since we started but we have never been able to provide back up support overseas like we do in the UK.
We see this acquisition as the first step in a very important journey for LTM which will allow us to support our clients outside of the UK. We can now offer European coverage with local service!
COW Lifting Technology specialises in the sale, service and support of BGV C1 Hoists, Electric Winches & Control Systems. Klaus Weber, the Managing Director of COW Lifting Technology and his team have been involved with C1 equipment for over 15 years now. This knowledge is the all important key to delivering equipment that support clients expectations. Klaus Weber and John Jones (MD of LTM) worked together for many years in a previous operation until they went their separate ways! "We are excited to be working together again in the same field. The combination of skills, know-how and people (at LTM and COW) within the field of chain hoists and control systems; in our view is unrivalled", says Klaus Weber.
The co-operation possibilities between the two companies are immense. Many of the staff at LTM and COW have worked together before, so the companies have a natural fit already.
There is also little cross over in terms of customer base. The knowledge between LTM and COW in the entertainment market puts us in a better position than most to meet the requirements of our International clients.
