Lift Turn Move Ltd has announced 4 Hoist School courses for 2010 due to the high demand for training courses last year. The first course commences on 2nd & 3rd March 2010 with 3 further dates set for 18th & 19th May 2010, 19th & 20th October 2010 and 30th Nov & 1st December 2010
The course has been expanded to include the new Loadguard Hoists giving students a more detailed understanding of different types of hoists which meet different standards including an ability of flying loads without secondary suspension.
The course also covers General Electrical theory, Overview of the Lodestar and new Loadguard Hoists, how to operate a hoist correctly, hoist assembly and disassembly, maintenance, troubleshooting, fault finding on faulty hoists, and health and safety.
A section has been included to cover standards and how the LoadGuard conforms.
The numbers are deliberately set at 16 places, this is the ideal number to allow everyone sufficient individual attention.
The course costs 350 plus VAT and includes training material, equipment, all snacks, lunch and drinks, and a meal on the Tuesday night in Liverpools renowned Albert Dock.
